21 day fix Broccoli Crust Pizza

Now you can eat pizza guilt free. Check out this recipe. We always hear about cauliflower but hey what about broccoli! Broccoli can do the same thing as cauliflower! This is super exciting. I made this and succeeded the first time, I was really happy and it was delicious. It felt like I was cheating!
This is 21 day fix approved. 2 slices is equal to 1 red, 1 green and 1 blue.
Ingredients:
For the Crust
-3 cups of broccoli
-1/2 cup of part-skim, low moisture mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp of sea salt
- 1 garlic clove chopped
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
Directions:
First you need to put your broccoli in a food processor or blender and make sure it is finely blended, just like rice. Then you steam the broccoli, when it is done steaming let it cool. Then add the cheese, eggs, salt, garlic, and basil to make the crust. Transfer onto baking sheet and make into a pizza, about 10-12 inches. Make a good crust using your hands. You want your toppings to stay on ( especially the eggs) so make sure the crust is rounded up around the edges. Bake for 18-20 minutes. Make sure it is brown around the edges.

While the pizza is baking , get your toppings and turkey sausage ready to go.
For topping :
You can add whatever you want but this is what I added.
Turkey Sausage:
- 1lb lean or I use extra lean ground turkey
- 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
- 1 1/2 tsp sea salt (Himalayan)
- 1 tsp sage (chopped)
- 1 tsp rosemary (chopped)
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 dash of ground juniper berries ( I just put maybe 10 in a blender and crushed them then added them to bowl)
- 1/4 tsp of nutmeg
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 2 tsp ice cold water
Combine all ingredients in a bowl, mash together with hands or wooden spoon. Add to stovetop and cook and mash up as you go until the turkey is no longer pink. You can make into sausage patties as well but I just did all ground turkey sausage. What I didn't use, I saved in fridge and added to scrambled eggs the following days.
Veggies:
- Handful of chopped red peppers
- Handful of chopped sliced mushrooms
- 2 scrambled eggs
Directions:
After it is done baking, brush the pizza with a tbsp of olive oil. Then add your toppings. My toppings included 2 scrambled eggs, peppers, mushrooms, 1/4 mozzarella cheese, turkey sausage. Put back into the oven for 12-15 minutes until the eggs are done and the cheese is melted.
