If you weigh in daily or in an OCD fashion and your mood gets affected by the number you see on the scale, you can benefit from ditching it. We’ve all been there. You are trying to lose weight and every morning you step on the scale. Some days you lose 4 lbs over night some days it doesn't move. The scale is so unpredictable and what I have learned is that the more you obsess about a number on the scale the slower it seems your results come. Also the scale does not matter as much as you think it does.
*ADAPT A MANAGEABLE STRESS FREE LIFESTYLE*
My other point is I want you (all my followers) to get to a point where you don’t need to worry and focus on the number on the scale constantly. Who wants to be a lifetime dieter? Umm, no one. The quality of that life is not good for you. We need to have a positive lifestyle eating plan that has you eating stress free and habits that you can maintain long term. I cringe when I hear the word diet or trying to lose weight fast. I think we are all much better off, physically and emotionally if we do our best to keep a steady healthy lifeSTYLE.
MUSCLE IS MORE DENSE THAN FAT.
Yes, we all want to be that certain number on the scale but if you are working out on your weight loss journey, you may not lose weight according to the scale. But you will lose inches, shred fat and gain muscle and this can all happen why the scale looks relatively the same. You need to go by how you feel , how your clothes fit and how you look in the mirror.
YOUR WEIGHT WILL FLUCTUATE MORE THAN THE STOCK MARKET.

It is what it is. The human body is so incredible , we constantly have things going in, coming out, dissolving, transforming, etc. Because of this your weight fluctuates like crazy over the 24-48 hours. It depends on how much water you drink, how much sodium is in what you are eating, what time of day you weigh yourself, it all matters and your weight will always be different.
When you lose weight fast, it most likely is a lot of water weight. Losing weight and losing fat are two completely different things.
The scale does not define you. You are not a number or a statistic. Stop stressing over the number. Start living a quality healthy life.
1. Keep track of your success by looking at your body composition rather than your weight. Take pictures to compare.
2. Set goals that are not weight-oriented. Set exercise and nutrition goals. Ex. I will work out this many times this week. I will eliminate mindless snacking this week, etc.
3. Keep a journal and document your food and how you are feeling so you can always go back and find what worked best for you.
